A week after the rumored launch date, and months of delays later, the famous Motorola Q is now available on Verizon Wireless' online store. This is the real deal. If you don't believe us, just check out the VZW store.

The ultra thin Motorola Q was announced back in July 2005 and features a large, 2.4" color screen, voice activated dialing, a 1.3 megapixel camera with photo lighting, mp3 and video capabilities, stereo speakers web surfing capability and a QWERTY keyboard. All this on will run on Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system.

With a 2-year service agreement, Verizon Wireless is charging just $199 for the Q. The price increases to $349 with a 1-year agreement. Last week, Verizon launched the Palm Treo 700p, which will sell for $399 with a 2-year agreement.

so Motorola q ... finally launched. Why am I not surprised? Treo 700p launched last week? Anyway, I don't really care.

I admit that I almost bought the 700p, but now I'll be ordering the Motorola q, no doubt about that.

Ordered my q this moring, and within a few hours had a fedex tracking number for it. Unlike some other debuts, this device is in VZW'a warehouse. Hopefully the'll have enough to go around.
