After releasing its price and plans last week, Verizon Wireless announced today the launch of the Palm Treo 700p. Sprint will also launch the 700p very soon, bragging they would do it before Verizon. According to rumors, Verizon's Treo 700p is expected to ship in 3-4 weeks, while Sprint will roll out its Treo in 1 week.

The Treo 700p runs on Palm OS 5.4.9 and features a 65k color 320 x 320 touchscreen, 1.3 megapixel camera, 128MB of memory, 60MB of dedicated user storage, built-in MP3 player, Bluetooth and SDIO. Other features include EV-DO highspeed data and 312MHz Xscale CPU.

The 700p is only available online at the moment, on Verizon's website. Unfortunately, the price they announced last week wasn't exactly right. Verizon Wireless will not be selling the device for $399 with a two-year agreement, but $499.99 with the same two-year contract and $549.99 with a 1-year contract. Sprint will be the one selling the Treo 700p for $399.

I like to use FireFox but can't use well Devnagari Unicod or TTF font (Hindi & Nepali) on FireFox. Internet Explorer is very good for this. If you have any idea to solve this problem I will tray to use FireFox.
