Nokia announces the 5500 Sport phone

Nokia has announced its newest handset, the Nokia 5500 sport phone, which is specially designed to hold out while you ... work out? Yes, a good reason to take your phone to the gym and a great way to lose it.
Anyway it's a rough phone that features a stainless steel casing with dust resistant shell and rubber grips, a dedicated button to activate different modes like 'music' or 'sport' and text-to-speech. It also features a microSD card slot for up to 1GB of memory, that can hold about 750 songs.
The Nokia 5500 is expected to launch in the third quarter of 2006 for an estimate price of 300 EUR before taxes and subsidies.

excellent phone.....outstanding.......compact and so many things to do...the nokia 5500 illuminates red and yellow lights...fascinating....and the sports fucntion is great....cool phone....and the sound is superb ..just got it for rs 13 k ( 240 usd)..not bad at all......
