As expected, Sony Ericsson today announced its fourth quarter financial earnings. 16.1 million units have been shipped in Q4, which is a 28% increase compared to the same period last year and a 17% increase sequentially. Quarter sales reached EUR 2,310 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 15%. Income before taxes was EUR 206 million and net income was EUR 144 million.
The company owes much of its success to the W800, W600, W550 and the W900 Walkman music phones. Since the launch of the first Walkman phone in August, Sony Ericsson has managed to ship 3 million Walkman branded units.

I'm not at all surprised! They did so great with the Walkman phones, it's incredible. I can't wait to trade in my W800 for a W810. Good job SE !
