Sony Ericsson to release the W810i?

According to some rumors, Sony Ericsson will be releasing an updated version of the W800i Walkman phone, the W810i. The new handset will have the same features, but it's expected to contain less memory. Also a new keypad design will be available. The softkeys include an activity menu button, which isn't present on the W800i.
The W810i is expected to be available in the second quarter of 2006. We will contact Sony Ericsson to confirm this.
UPDATE: No confirmation is needed. Sony Ericsson did announce the W810 at CES 2006 today. Additional features will include quadband and EDGE support, dedicated music buttons and will contain less internal memory (20MB), but that doesn't really matter anyway when you have the 512MB external one.

think it's a fantastic phone although i've never seen it before but i consider sony ericsson w810 as more fascination than other phone and i like the design that is simply gorgeous

It's not out yet. But I think it will be around $400. And after that, of course, the W800 will drop a few dollars. Wonderful phone.
Thats a badass phone, especially kuz its a walkman wit a nice camera and its black with the orange color too which makes it look even better, I seen the price on it and its around $500

Love the phone. Had the prediccesor, the w800i. I cannot find anywhere to adjust the lighting to stay on every use rather than the the light sensor deciding. Anyone?

This is a really neat phone. I got it as a gift from my uncle, and I had it for awhile. Unforunately, during winter it accidently fell in the snow.It was so cold outside that the screen inside cracked, and now I have to pay almost 200 dollars to fix it, does anyone know of another cheaper way I can get it fix?

I own a W810i and if somebody dreams to have a multimadia in their hands,fortunetly you have that chance,this mobile ofer to you; mp3.mp4.radio.2.0 megapixels,walkmen so this mean fun, and what is imprtant is not very expensive, in europe is around 150euros-170euros.dont lose your chance,enjo with sony ericson.

although da keypad is a bit fiddly and the cammra aint brill. the walkman is great and the intenet acsesis even betta. Buy it if you want a good deal

Such a dece phone I got it in white over a year ago. Still works like a charm and looks gorgeous. She's taken a good licken and she's still tickin' like she's new. I totally recommend it
who ever is saying that dis fone is S**T is an ass cuz y'all dunno wat ya sayin man 'ite. this is one of the best fone and by the way i had it more than 2years and it works nicely like nothing blood!! bless
i was considering getting this phone. but after i found out it was released in 2006 i decided against it. at the moment i have a W580i, i've had to send it back twice due to problems with it, it is drop-proof, i have dropped it many times and it still works.
only thing is i had problems with the sim, it kept saying i hadnt got a sim in when i had and i couldnt use my phone. now the back casing has seperated itself from the actual phone for no apparent reason and for these reasons i need a new phone. but not this one.
any suggestions? :)
i had a w810i a couple of years back and loved it. my little girl used it to aid her teething :P and it quit taking a charge...im on a mission to get it again...i'll take awesome care of it this time...i think that my plan is feasible since my girl is 3 now. thank god.
