Cingular Wireless today announced that it will start offering Goodlink, the award-winning wireless messaging from Good Technology to smartphones. Goodlink was announced by Cingular Wireless back almost three months ago. This service is only available on two smartphones at the moment: the Audiovox SMT5600 and the Motorola MPx220.
Cingular's Goodlink is a two-way wireless connection that extends the capabilities of Microsoft Outlook to a wireless handheld, including email, attachments, folders, calendar, contacts, notes and tasks. Because of its Triple-DES encryption, and enhanced password policies Goodlink also provides great security of all applications.
"The availability of GoodLink from Cingular on Windows Mobile Smartphones gives our business customers who prefer the look and feel of a wireless handset a cost-effective way to access their corporate e-mail without having to purchase a PDA," said Michael Woodward, executive director, mobile professional solutions, for Cingular Wireless.
