Verizon Wireless and Motorola launch the Motorola E815

Verizon Wireless announced today the availability of the Motorola E815 handset. This mobile phone is equipped with Verizon Wireless' V CAST multimedia service which enables consumers in the V CAST service area to access short video content on-demand, including current news, weather, sports and entertainment programming.

The Motorola E815 features a 262.000 color (176x220 px) internal display and a 4.000 color (96x64) external display, EV-DO high speed data, a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and 4x digital zoom, Bluetooth Wireless Technology, Mobile Web 2.0, Get It Now, which allows customers to use on-demand video services and download and play advanced 3D games. Get It Now offers a library of more than 500 downloads including ring tones, games, messaging options and more.

It also features a built-in speakerphone, 40MB internal memory plus a TransFlash slot and up to 280 minutes usage time or 280 hours standby time.

The Motorola E815 is already available in some stores and it retails with a contract for $149.99 after rebate.
