Tyron Pahila, a 19 year old student at Romblon State University, was stabbed after resisting two robbers who took his Nokia 3310 mobile phone and other personal things last Friday in Quezon City.
Tyron Pahila, a junior at Romblon State University, was walking along Dumalac Street in Barangay Sta. Monica in Novaliches, Quezon City, at about 2 p.m. when two men attacked him.

After being threatened with a knife, the victim gave the suspects his wallet, which contained ID, some money and other documents. The suspects also demanded his mobile phone, a Nokia 3310. When Pahila struggled, one of the suspects stabbed him in the midsection. The robbers ran away with the weapon.

Traffic enforcers Atoy Rivera and Jonathan Ibe rushed Pahila to a private hospital, before he was transferred to the Quezon City General Hospital.

At 4:50 p.m., the victim died while undergoing surgery, police said.
