Cingular Wireless reached 50 Million Customers

Cingular Wireless announced today at CTIA 2005 that they now have 50 million customers. Stan Sigman, Cingular's president and chief executive officer said: "Attaining 50 million customers is a key indicator that our merger with AT&T Wireless is working and working robustly...
Fifty million customers, which is over three million more than we had as of October 1 of last year, means that nearly three of every 10 current U.S. wireless subscribers are now Cingular customers."
Cingular Wireless also serves 95 of the Fortune 100 companies, and counts more than 80% of the Fortune 500 and more than 1,200 federal, state, and local government agencies as customers.
